Foods That Alkalize Your Body

Here is a list of foods that will help increase your alkalinity and boost the pH level in your body.

  • Alfalfa Grass
  • Almonds
  • Asparagus
  • Avocado
  • Barely Grass
  • Beet
  • Brazil Nuts
  • Brussel Sprouts
  • Carrots
  • Cauliflower
  • Celery
  • Cucumber
  • Green Cabbage
  • Leeks
  • Lettuce
  • Olive Oil
  • Peas
  • Red Radish
  • Spinach
  • Wheat Grass
  • Zucchini

Think of the plate that you are getting ready to have your meal on as a pie chart.  Divide this “pie chart” into a 70/30 ratio.  If 70% of your “pie chart” contains foods listed from the group above you are now moving towards alkalinity and away from acidity.  Simply making this one small change to your diet can greatly increase your pH level.

Nice list to build up alkalinity in the body … do you have a list of some foods that cause the most acidity in the body?

    Thanks, Neil

  10. So in general, increase our vegetable intake. Not just any veggie, I can see that. I imagine you mean barley grass not barely grass? I know, I’m human, too, and also have typos in life. 🙂

This is such valuable and easy to understand information! Why isn’t this kind of thing being taught in public schools instead of keeping to the outdated and misleading “food pyramid”. Thanks for making all of the information you post so easy to follow!
