Are You Sick And Tired Of Being Sick And Tired?

How many times have you found yourself saying that you are sick and tired of being “sick and tired”?  On a regular basis I would would say that at least half of the people I know and encounter are run down, listless, and they are either sick or on the verge of a cold or flu.  That is a sad comment on the current state of health for a majority of people in North America.

It shouldn’t be that way AND it doesn’t have to be that way.  In 2001, at The University Of Victoria (in Victoria, British Columbia – Canada) I was fortunate enough to study under one of the leading/cutting edge research scientists and doctors in the world, Dr. Robert O. Young.  Dr. Young is at the forefront for research in the “Acid/Alkaline Balance”.  Dr. Young has dedicated his life to health and wellness.

Over the next few days we are going to discuss foods that are alkaline and foods that are acid (acidic) and how to find a balance between the two that will help establish health and homeostasis in the body.

For more information on Dr. Young and his work you can find him on FaceBook at the following link:

Yes! I have bronchitis, asthma, RAD or something for more than 6 months, been in and out of the hospital and lost my voice and the doc and 4 specialists are STILL not sure what is wrong with me. They say they are looking for zebras now. Because I am asking to be taking off of my meds, and am working on diet, I am actually starting to feel a little better. I have read thru Dr. Susan Larks wellness letter about acid/alkaline diet and am currently on Weil’s anti-inflamatory diet. Have you heard about it and what do you think about it?

I am really looking forward to learn about better food choices that are alkaline rather than acidic. I am a big fan of drinking 9.5pH alkaline water and am well aware of how toxic our lifestyles – including food choices – are and the impact the poor choices we make have on our health and ability to fight off disease.

    Just another great idea Gary!!!
