High in Amylase activity, Amylase supports the body's digestion of sugars,
grains, pastas, breads, pastries and alcohol. A high carbohydrate diet
causes an imbalance of enzymes, resulting in an Amylase deficiency
condition. Amylase contains more Amylase than any of the Enzyme Research
products.
Amylase has been found to be very effective in Celiac problems. Amylase will
enzymatically cleanse the carbohydrate portion of the gliadens (toxic
portion of the gluten) from wheat and rye and render the gluten harmless.
Amylase deficiency is involved in anti-inflammatory conditions of the skin,
e.g., psoriasis, eczema, allergies, bee and bug stings, hives and all types
of herpes. Amylase deficiency may indicate asthma, emphysema and stiff
joints.
Amylase helps digest all saccharides (like found in gluten, fruit, honey,
etc.) and converts them to mono-saccharides.
Amylase taken between meals may be beneficial in cases of asthma, hay fever,
joint immobility, insect bites, allergies, skin eruption, histamine
reactions and sinus conditions.
